how many polygon count that good?

I have create object that uesd in game and I want to know how many polygon in object that can be good when playing in general PC, now I have object models that have about 5300 vertice and 2500 vertice it's so high?

That's alright for a computer game. You shouldn't have more then 20k triangles for the main character and if it's some scenery object you should have much less.
In the end it all depends on the engine and the computer you're running the game on though.


When in doubt, delete history and freeze transformations.

thank you. it's a tree (2500 vertice) and other tree that have many sphere (5300 vertice). there are the way to reduce sphere? I try to change subdivision from 20 to 6 it's low polygon but sphere is not a curcle.

why dont you setup 3 trees,
1 - at 20 - for close ups
2 - at 12 - for mid range distance
3 - at 6 - for those at a long range.

and all models can come from a single mesh.
