Doing some tests with the fastskin shader any feed back welcome, thanks for feed back nextdesgn I think it was the angle of the head that made the ear look to far back...dave

for me, the fast skin doesn't look like its doing anything.

I like the model, did you use any references or just make it up? cos if its the latter then its really good. I kinda know what nextDesign was saying about the form, but tbh its your first head so just get it done. Once you do more heads you might see what could be different or how you would topologise it in a different way. for now just finish it, that is the pot calling the kettle black tho. I need to finish some of my projects.

i used a reference photo, no im not that good. only did the fast skin shader this morning have done some tweeking

The problem was all my norms were the wrong direction, have corrected I think it looks better? dave

Look at the MANY resources I have posted for you. And yes, it still looks like wax. Thats why I gave you the first link, as it's easier to do.
