Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Alien Birth (adult content!!!)

Here's a new picture of mine. Sculpted in ZBrush and post produced in Photoshop. It has some adult imagery, but I don't think it's too hard to show here. user added image

Was soll das denn???
Insgesamt verdammt gut geworden.

@bullet1968: Thx and no prob, I don't even know who that guy is. Maybe some german 3d modeler I know from another forum under a different name. Guess I'm famous in a whole lot of contries, hahaha!!!

As I got a bunch of crits and advice here and there, I went back into Photoshop and changed a couple of things:

- I added only a few new textures at certain places like top of head of left alien, front arms of same alien. I found it was no real win for this picture. It rather was a camouflage for the sculpted details.

- overworked the colors of the larvae to make it look more natural and contrasty to the alien head, added some fake eyes like on a ref pic of some insect I found on the net

- turned down opacity of fog and background architecture

- added some space ships to achieve some more volume and depth and give the viewer some hint to the scale of the aliens

I will start a new work now, else I might edit the picture to death.
