I'm making an online showreel and have been doing some test with video formats and compression. What I've came up with is a 2 minute 45 sec .flv, with a data rate of 1288Kbps, and it's 27.2 mb.

I guess the important part is size v length - so does 27.2mb seem reasonable for a streaming video of that length? It's fine on my connection, and I've tested in on a slower connection too, which was fine. Done little encoding though and not that web-wise so thought I'd ask here for tips.
