Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Beginning a Countryside Scene

Hello,
I have began all the modeling to try to create a cartoon-style countryside scene like this(top). I am having trouble finding a way to make the grass because it is a very large landscape and I only want the details close to the camera. and I dont need too much detail since it is a cartoon scene afterall. I also added a photo of the kind of grass i am trying to go for(bottom) I would appreciate any advice
thanks
Edward
