Vray trouble

I've been using Vray for a few weeks now and I've noticed that when I use it to batch render my script editor just sits on Result: Rendering with vray... for about 20-30 minutes before it actually does anything.

I've only been rendering very low quality animation tests today, which take less than a minute a frame once it finally gets going, and it's still taking 20-30 minutes to do anything.

Any idea's if I have a setting wrong somewhere? Or is it simply my computer?
