Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Any good hair tutorials?

I'm trying to learn how to do hair and I was starting with A/Ws eyelash tutorial but it sucks. It says things like "Progressively paint length values", but doesn't tell you how to do that. I tried setting the Fur Attribute to Length and then painting on top of my fur, but nothing happens.

Any help with this, or some good tutorials would be appreciated.

Thanks,

-dann

Search through the tutorials forum for some links. It's been posted before. Also, on alias|wavefront's site, go to their community How-to section...there's a hair tutorial there using paint fx.
