UPDATE?

I just installed CPS Tools. Now, whenever I work in proxy mode, I get this UPDATE button at the bottom right of my workspace. No changes are made to my geometry until I hit that button. Any idea how to turn it off so that proxy mode works in real time?

Ok, another problem. I got rid of CPS Polytools. Now whenever I extrude something it doesn't do it realtime. I move the manipulator but the extrude takes place after I let go instead of following the manipulator. ???????????

Yeah I used CPS once befor and found it frustrating.. was as slow in realtime as subD's were with out the rich flowing curves. Got ride of it myself.

There are ways to speed up subD's.

Dave, have you tryed to extrued the face in a new sean ?? maybe some of the CPS nodes are left in your seanfile.. ?

hmm... I have never seen that one before.. What version of CPS did you install ? ..

Maybe send me the scene to carsten@caligraphics.dk and I will check it out, just to see if I get the same with your scene.

My first thought was that it could be something with your Maya settings, but as I said I am definately not sure.

I figured it out. Under Windows > Settings > Performance Settings check the Dependency Graph Evaluation box to DRAG.

In CPS Tools, just click on the Dependency Graph Evaluation button until it says Drag in the Command Feedback line.
