Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

how did you model that?? is it mostly sculpting tools?? I wish i could model like that..

your modeling is comeing along great vlad. Cool stuff. Whats the refrances like ? I'm not totaly sure what your after but I kinda thought the line from the side of the nose down past the sides of the mouth is a little to far away from the corner of the lips.

think you might have a bit too much indent in the Brow ridge area, that.. line of detail yoyu added...might just be the angle of the pic though...

and i fixed the corner of the lips , thanx.

this is modeled mostly using the poly by poly method, not box modeling as i find box modeling less intuitive when modeling after a reference [for characters]. nothing special just push and pull verts.

exellent model, looks like a devil I see in one of the first movies of tom cruise, in the movie this devil want to kill all the unicors for the darkness to prevail. Can we see a wireframe on shaded of the model?
keep updating the post, looks like a exellent caracter to go all the way.

But yeh. looks gret vlad, but looks like a LOT of ridges on the face. but might look better after textures

blocking things in a little more. corrected some areas in the face {removed some extra unecessary ridges. thanx Twisted}
added some arms.
the legs are next. then hands and feet.

I would like to see a wire; and is it a subd or just a smoothed poly?
