Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Howdy,

A friend and I have just started up a new studio called BLack Lung Studios, so I can say that I am self employed....hehe, yeah but anyway, I do modeling, animation, texturing and lighting, and ofcourse we use Maya as our software package. Before we decided to get our own business going we were doing freelance work for about a year or so, and have now decided to go for it.

Our main source of income at the moment is doing 3d visualizations. We have a few upcoming TV ads on the cards but nothing has come to an agreement as of yet.

I'm only 14, so I guess my occupation is student right now :p

But when I'm older I'll probably become a video/software programmer. I already am very familiar with C/C++ and DirectX for games. Maya is just kinda a hobby for me when I'm out of school user added image

I'm 21, and I'm a student at the University of Teesside (home of Animex). I'm studying Software Engineering. Currently, I'm on a year in industry work placement in the Finance department at Corus Special Profiles.
I've been using Maya since December 2003, and have recently bought Modod to speed up my modelling.

Cheers,
Malcolm
