Even though most of Canada suffers like -20 C during the winter, it doesn't feel as cold as the UK in my opinion which is usually like a max of -5 C. It's all about the wind chill.

I prefer severe extremes anyway, rather than the UK where our sky is just different shades of grey throughout the year. So depressing.

lol here in Portugal it's freezing too, the temp isn't so cold as there, here the lowest its -1 or something like that, but for us its a lot of cold lol. and for me u are really lucky, since i was born, it has never snowed in the city that i lived lol

today is the warmer of the past 3 days here in Almost-Canada-NY, it was around -1F during the day and only got colder at night. Today I believe we were above 0

naaaaa, come to Adelaide, the whether is fine .., and anyway, Womad will be on soon (and the CG movie I'm doing music and sound for, not that its part of Womad, and by cricky it shouldn't be )
