Default Help! character animation/motion capture problems

Im using library of motion capture sequences. I would like to be able to take a couple of clips, eg. a walk cycle and a clip of someone sitting and blend them together to create one fluid movement. Ive been playing with trax to create clips and blends but the one major problem i have is that some of the motion capture is orientated differently and i cant figure out how to change this. For example if i import a clip of a walk that goes from left to right how do i blend it with a clip that moves in the opposite direction? ive tried retargetting but it wont seem to work when i create the clips in the trax editor.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

look into motion builder it is the easiest program to tweak motion capture data including setting up blending tracks and also animation layers
