Right started again were I left off and ran into a small problem... I have done the eye and added texture to it but for some reason I can only see the texture when I render that current frame and in none of my views, all i get it just the eye I have shaped without the texture I applied to it??

could someone help me and tell me why I only see my textureed eye in render mode??

on your view panel's toolbar, click on the button with the checkered board pattern (see image). You can also press the number 6 with your mouse cursor over the view panel you want to see textures in.

What issue are you having exactly? To start off, make sure you have the items you want to sculpt selected first, then click on the sculpt tool. You may need to increase the Max Displacement value in the sculpt tool settings to see results.

Looking very good !

I have never spent a lot of time charactor modeling, but i once saw a making of the final fantasy film, and they decided that to get good deformation of the shoulders once rigged, they modelled the arms at 45 degrees from the body.
