The competition for UK residents calls all teenage animators across the country to submit their films. All animation techniques are allowed, so you can use hand-drawn 2D, 3D computer animation, or stop-motion to create your short film, which should be no longer than 120 seconds. The theme is growth to give you a starting point, but it won’t be used as a judging criteria. There’s a final deadline for submissions set to 31st August 2021. The winner is crowned Young Animator of the Year and gets a tour of an iconic British studio like Aardman Animations or Blue Zoo. More details about the animation competition can be found here.
