XGen interactive grooming was new to Maya 2017, and new features have been added to update 3. In this video Steven Roselle, Senior Technical Specialist at Autodesk, looks at what's new.
Within Maya 2017 users have the possibility to use sculpting tools to non-destructively apply changes to XGen hair. This workflow is now available for real time character hair. Update 3 lets game artists groom directly on cards and easily convert them to geometry.
