About This Course

Creature Vol 1 - Modeling Quadrupeds

This tutorial shows you how to make a creature model in Maya, based on a concept sketch. We look at reference material to create a model with realistic anatomy that has weight to it. Topology is important, as the base mesh we take out of Maya is later brought to ZBrush for detailing. After following this project you'll be able to create your own quadrupeds in similar style, such as rhinos and elephants.
