Getting absloute co-ordinates in maya

hi,

is there any way in maya to display absolute co-ordinates? I've got a couple of vertices that have moved out of symmetry on my modes and I wan to get the aligned again, but don't want to divide and mirror.

How can I find out it's exact place in space so I can re-locate its opposite?

thanks,

gubar

select the vert in question than go

xform -q -t -ws;

should do the trick

Thanks,

I'll try that later - can I ask what it's function is?

cheers,

gubar

it just queries (-q) the seleected componant's translate (-t) value with regards to the world space (-ws).
