Texturing Realistic Gold
G'day there,
I was just wondering if someone could give me some tips on settings to use for a Blinn (or any other shader for that matter as long as I can plug in my normal map) to create realistic reflective Gold texture? |
I think it should be something with brown-yellow color and chrome...
You need to have an environmental sphere on Reflected Color and high reflectivity and specularity. Hope this helps, Benny |
Go over to highend3d.com, they have a couple of gold and similar shaders you can download, not sure on their setup but have a mess round with em.

Now would anyone know how to get that oily rainbow effect you tend to see in gold? |
