Nurbs plane scale displacement problem ?

Hi everybody
I have a scene where I have a nurbs plane displaced by on ocean shader with a dielectric material assigned to it. Now everything is fine when i render, no problem there. I want to scale up my nurbs plane to make it bigger, BUT when I do my displacement dissapears, it goes completely flat which isnt good. below is my displacement which is how i like it. The plane is 50x50x50, I want it to be 800x800x800 (goes flat at this scale) So can anybody tell me how to sort this out without losing my displacement on my nurbs plane ? If so that would be great.
