about the graphics card... you should have just saved your money and got th X800 version... they are the same as far as performance goes

Well, I just got a new machine too. It loaded with firsts....for me at least. ;) First computer with an AMD chip, Nvidia Video, SATA II and PCI-Ex

Specs.
AMD Athlon 64 3700+/2.2Ghz/1MB L2
1Gb (2x512) OCZ PC3200 DDR RAM
250Gb SATA II HD
ASUS NVIDIA G-Force 6800GT

Mobo and Video are SLI ready.

Just got is Sat. Haven't put Maya on it yet. :ninja:
