yes you need your own thread, a brand new project in which you show all your progress, just posting an image of a finished scene how do we know you didn't take it from somewhere? not saying that you did, but you need to show your work in your thread.

Can i move my post to a new thread or is it there to stay now? and i can post wires and other images and the maya files if you want me to or if i need to sorry first thing ive entered so dont know the protocol :(

What you should do is start a thread called something like "Henhrig666 - Virtual Cityscape - (then whatever your cityscape is)" and repost your render.
