thats a cute little photo joed, though when you look closer at the eyes and claws it suddenly looks like a vicious little thing - two little pointy teeth sticking out and it could be vlad the guinea...

I was going to say the previous fur colour was better but now you've made this version a bit denser it looks good.
The nose is more often than not pink on the little critters and there is no fur...

You should have stuck with the first model for more of a challenge :)

Back to the new model - the furless ref you have there is great for getting under the fur and modelling the guinea pig form...

The bottom edge of the eyelid needs to come down more in a rounded shape.
Also the bump at the top of the cheek (near the outer eye area) needs to be reduced/removed.
