Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Alois Nebel - Telling a Story of the Past

This very impressive black and white from the Czech Republic is a contender for Best Foreign Film in the Oscars this year, and it really stands out from other happy-style animated features. It's a moody adaptation of a graphic novel trilogy by Jaromir 99 and Jaroslav Ruid made through rotoscope-animation and tells the story of a past this country is trying so hard to forget all about. It also reminded me of some of the artistic elements I love about Sin City.
