Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Lots of work, little pay... sigh... same boat here.

Yeah, I'm reworking one of my old characters now and think I'll try to use him in a reel. Just need the time.

But your character still looks cool and I can't wait to see the animation.

If all employers are only looking for people with x-years experience, how the hell do those of us with none get some.

Yes, but one that incorporates all your favorite IM software solutions in to one handy dandy program.

Wow 3dgurl.. i really like this user added image. I have to say the whole look is nice. Just if you could ever add some kinda lighting, or material to it so that its more of a cartoony look instead of almost a plastic i think it would look best. Im not a master on materials though so i cant give advice. If you have to drop out though then it will be a shame user added image.

October Challenge

Hi 3dgurl

Love the storyboard. Simple but effective.
Looking forward to the final concept.
Nice to see girlies entering the comp.
I haven't started mine yet probably too late
for the october challenge!

... 3DG - it happens! Paying the bills are definitely more important than the challenge. I hope you get some time to finish it in the future!
