Please Help

So I lost my tool.

Everything was goin great, I was making pretty cool models and then it happened: I extruded 2 side by side polygon surfaces with the intention of resizing them. But the usual manipulator that pops up when I extrude, the one which combines scale, rotation, and translation, didn't pop up. So when I manually grabbed the scale maniulator and scaled the 2 selected extruded surfaces, they resized in relation to eachother rather than to their own independant centers.

For the life of me I can't get that old familair manipulator to pop up automatically after I extrude a surface.

I'm a computer. Help computer!

I'm guessing you may have turned off your construction history. Look up at status line for the little scroll icon and check to see if it has a red X though it.
