Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Im wanting to make a golf ball model. I found this tutorial for 3d max - https://www.3dm3.com/tutorials/golfball/ - is it possible to do the same kinda thing with maya - ive tried to just create the primative itself but since the controls are all different I'm all stuck....

unfortunately- usually you can easily make general modeling tutorials from 3ds Max ones.

But this ones uses tools ONLY in 3ds Max- and it uses them all the way through.

Sorry-
