This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Are you using a human ref as a template mate?? the torso seems to be truncated...should be longer maybe?

It may just look that way because the belt comes up just past the lower abdomen. It actually finishes bout 3/4 way down the belt.
