Cool looking tut' Jay! Can't not like surfing aliens user added image

Anyways I was just wondering what software you use to record your screen? I've got Fraps, and I just tried to record a tutorial using it only to find that when I pulled it into Vegas it had only recorded the viewports and chopped the rest off. It also stops recording whenever I open a menu, and then resumes once I click back on the viewport. I've looked it up and apparently Fraps will only do the 3D part of a 3D application and will ignore the rest, and there's no way around it (Super-annoying since I went and bought a license!).

Thanks,

Martin.

Hey Martin

Thanks.

Sure, we use camtasia studio. In my opinion its probably the best for this type of thing, the compression is really good, low file sizes with maximum res with no loss in quality.

hope it helps you out, I believe theres a 30 day demo you can try....
