that's a really nice touch pony! you may want to bevel those edges out a bit to stop them looking so square but apart from that cool user added image

I'm starting to fall behind now so I'm gonna have to pick up the pace a bit with my one

Thanks Fredriksson, Pure, scopa.

I'm trying to hold off on the bevels at the moment. Trying to figer out when and how I want to UV map first.

scopa, I'm just doing a strate MR finalgather render, about 500 on the setting.
The render with the lights. I did spotlights with fog. and I rendered only that in regular maya soft. and composited with the MR FG render

Next. Starting to get the hang of it.

edit, Huxley. this is the top though. I used booleans for this with some extra edges cut in.

I think I've been spending a few to many hours in front of Maya... I just tried to right click your image and select "faces". user added image
