This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

See (not) my house

Here is my house, well it is not my house i have modeling it trouth tutoril, but it is nice user added image, give me some nice word to make me work more, like: this is wonderfull mean and stuff user added image

Looks good. Nice porch. Doorknob is a bit to big. It could use some textures on it.

Image size is to big. It needs to be 640x480. please.

Thx, yap doorknob is too big but it is not wery important because it is not for any use, its yust learning model. I dont know should i learn too make textur or i just learn too model wery good??? What do you mean??? I didnt know for resolution, sorry!!!

the biggest distraction to me is the long, even slats for the roof. I'd make them more uneven, even slightly, and vary their length to make it more like shingles or something, as I'm not sure many people use alluminum siding for roof coverings. user added image

Looks good! Just what Mike said about the roof is one point i'd make, also I would consider adding a window above the window at the front of the house to show maybe a loft conversion, as it looks like somethings missing.

mtmckinley what do you meen, what means word`s: the biggest distraction to me is the long, even slats for the roof, and what is this, is it a joke becouse i send you that e-mail abouth glass and aluminium texturs??? What do you people think should I learn too model and then advance too lights, texturs animating or should I get ewery work finished from modeling to texturs, lights and stuff, direct me in what direction should I go!! THX again

I meant that the roof should probably be more like shingles rather than long planks.

Thx guys, here is mine litle town witch will bee yust a beckground for some kind of short scene, it will not have textures yust beckground!!! nothing special and again yust beckground
