This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Ship Complete

Hey Guys

She may not look like much but shes got it where it counts.......

Haven't spent too long on this, as its only really in long to medium type shots in the novel.

Enjoy anyway

I like it, except the big tubes and center piece don't really feel like they belong together. The center piece is very mechanical looking with plates while the engines are very smooth and round.

Neat otherwise, though.

I think it look good, except that the whole picture looks squashed... probably because the big tubes looks oval.

Awsome texture man! But I also have to agree with the others. The engines seem unnatural. They don't flow with the design of the main body.

"she may not look like much" ?!?!? man your too hard on yourself. thats a really cool looking ship and the texture is awesome. a solution to the engine problem is maybe to move them back a little bit so they stick off the end, or make the fuselage/cabin/thingy taller.

By the way, has anyone seen the new Jedi Starfighter from Ep3, god damn that looks so coooooool. from the front it looks like the old Darth Vader Tie Fighter, just awsome!!! Theres some real cool stuff coming in that movie. I think people are gonna be taken back when they see the connections made and certain ships etc....say no more.

very nice again, how about port and starboard lights - may be anti collision lights, just that you said it was a distance piece they would stand out quite nice, adds to the ambience dont you think?
just playing devils advocate...

Cheers guys. Yeah lights would be good but depending on the shots etc and as for the name Defender its just an all round name as the ship carries the main 'Defender' - The hero!!!
