This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Migi Man

This is an old character that i've been using to help me get my hands dirty at texturing and shader creation. I used Maya 4.0 for everything, the image is a straight render no photoshop adjustments of any sort. View the higher res image for a closer look. As always comments are welcome. Thanks -MIGUEL-

I agree with the fingers. Might could be longer or maybe a little thinner. They don't seem to fit with the style of the rest of it.

Still, very neat character! Good job. :tup:

Nice, but why you posting Max work on SimplyMaya?

Other than the serious problem of you using such shit as 3DS Max (user added image!) Very sweet user added image

I don't think it is Max. You can color layers in Maya so that the wireframes show different colors if you want.
