Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Textile architecture

Hmrph...

Ok, so I need to do a huge tent-like structure, made up of a rather odd shape, similar to the structure in this link:

https://arneggergmbh.de/fairtent.html

Below you can see one of the possible designs from a bird's eye view.

The indicated framework rests 14 meters upon ground, and this is what the tarpaulin is attached to. From the framework outwards, it descends towards the floor, down to a height of something between 3 and 6 meters upon ground.

Doing this by hand is no option, so what whould be the best solution to tackle the problem? Cloth? Suicide?

Any pearls of wisdom? Have I made myself clear? Does the light go out when you close the fridge?

Thanks a lot!
