This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

I decided to try a differnt environment for the slot machine..

Going to try for a home interior.. I'm using my digital camera to shoot some different "real life" objects to get realistic texture maps. I modeled the mirror and uv mapped it. Still need to finish up the end table.

that was just a screen cap..
so its just the default lights
glad you like the walls thanx user added image

ya.. good lighting is a given... but textures are just as important. Gotta have realistic textures to bounce your light off of ;p ;p

I'll post some renders later...

newrender

newrender.. a bit too bright but overall I'm happy
at least I like it better than on the ugly carpet ;p

Still lots of tweaking.. and maybe some more objects to add.
I'd like to see more detail in the slotmachine tho...

nice work.the only thing i would sugest you would be to lower the depth of the bump on your wall.

I really like the chest of drawers you've got the fruit machine sat on user added image

Dont know whether the angle of the machine and table is right for the scene though. You'd expect it to be shoved up against the wall or at a 45 degree pointing straight at the camera. Still however you pose it make sure that the majority of the pic shows the fruit machine off user added image
Great work and good luck on the final stretch user added image

impressive !!!!!!

i like this work.it is the best for me

however I wanted to make you notice that (I am a newbe I can also be wrong) there is no continuity among the textures of the two faces of the wall.what do you think about?!

good luck for the competition
