Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

the wall bumpmap is no problem, it's the texture that has bad resolution.
I made a new version of the wall but this time with wallpaper.

is it better? or keep the other one?

Well one thing that could be done is to add a nice displacement map to the floor texture, or maybe a bump map... but with that just so you can make it show the little individual panes of wood, so that it is not just a textured plane, you kno???

O and btw, the wallpaper is much better

I have a problem. :headbang:
I don't know in what view im going to post my final render.
The part of the model im most proud of, is the panel the stuff in that area. But will be invisible in a perspective render angel.
do they consider the part that arent visible when they do the judging?

anyway, this picture shows the part that will be invisible.
