This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
I used melody to generate a normal map, which made 2 *.dds files. How do I go about applying these files to my model so that the normal map works? Thanks

.dds is a file format much like .tiff or .tga, its very fast and lossless.
im not sure if maya supports it.
but u can get a photoshop plugin from nvidia to convert your normal to a different file format. https://developer.nvidia.com/object/p...s_plugins.html
