Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Aight, the crease where the nose meets head on top is a bit too much. Apart from that, it aint bad.

Well, not a lot of comments I think cause the interesting part here to me will be playing with caustics and water shader as with textures.

The dolphin's almost finished we could say, modeling part speaking, except for teeth, nice pinky tongue and 4 holes with eyeballs in two of them. And it's pretty smooth (apart the crease yes ... dolphin's got one of the finest and flowing water-profiles).

So, not much comment so far, we wait for the details now hehehe

And ... wondering if it poped already user added image ... do you know what you'll use as base shader for skin ?

yeah, metallicjet, the skin shader should be difficult, because you cant use SSS for this kind of creature. anyway... keep going!

Yeah, it looks pretty good. Can't wait to see the shaders though. That's when the true dolphin within will be revealed user added image
