Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Tutorial suggestions

Could I suggest that a tutorial on how to create and apply bump, spec, disp map for a facial model. I don't mean hours of footage watching how you build up the base face colour in photoshop though that would be good, but more of how you get the maps from the original art, through to applying them in Maya and including finer details such as applying pores in skin, underlying scars etc. I find it easier to follow a video reference as opposed to some documented tutorials which can become sketchy and overlook certain aspects. Please take this suggestion into consideration.
