Need your opinions

Hi guys, Just want to get your input of what you would like to see re-done soon as far as some of our older tuts.

I will be re-doing the face modeling and texturing tut soon as it is a few years old and lots of things have changed.

Plz add what else of the old tuts you would like to see revisited soon and upgraded.

yep I agree something on that subject could be very useful for people that have learned the modelling and texturing and now want to make their scene look realistic without just using a hdri and mental ray setup user added image

A remake of the rigging tut. Would be really nice to get a rigging + binding tutorial, maybe even covering the new full-body IK ability in maya 7.

yes a rig one with the full ik body tool but still go over it the old school way and things like the 3 joint foot setup with that little bit of melp to improve it
also cover painting weights in depth as they can be a pain
that would be sweet

Now at SMU doing BSc 3D Computer Animation so its hard to get on here

Actually, texturing and face is pretty much exactly what I would like to see right now. I'd like to get into texturing and maybe learn how to do hair by modeling and by hairs dynamic or whatever it is. user added image For the Oliphant, it would be cool to see wooly mammoth hair on it. user added image

The first one that will be updated is the face modeling and texturing tut.. As well as using the new model for new lip sync tuts.

As far as rendering and lighting im working on that area more and more as it was not something I ve done a lot of in the past so hopefully soon i will be bringing out some of those as well.

Sneak peek at the new face

maybe one on morph maps, unless the lip sinc one covers morph maps. I Also second rigging, and weight mapping.
