Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Yer I will, but I think it's time to concentrate on finishing my showreel.

Better than that, I will give you a link to download it when I have finished it.

My former tutors at Escape Studios have all made comments and I am trying to make the necessary changes but there comes a time when I need to say that it is good enough to send of to people and try and get a job from it.

I personally don't have the experience to make that decision all by myself so what better idea that to let you guys help out.

Link and details coming soon.

hey, I really like your modelling! Ive just started out with maya and am looking forward to being able to model things like that!

Can i find out the polycount for a model like that is? I think i model things with far too many polys at the moment!

Also, id really like to know how you did the sea in the desktop picture! Is there a maya tool im not sure of that helps me create an ocean?

Great model dude, hope you have got that job!

Steve
