This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Since I have not been able to work on the transformer in 3D for a while, I figured I would flush out the drawing of it.

So here is a sample of what I would like the robot to look like when transformed.

Yeah, I have been working on my thesis project, which is also due at the end of this month.

So last night I decided to take a little break from that and spend some hours on this transformer, which I find to be a lot of fun.

I think I am going to create the more of the robot and then fix it so it can form the dragster.

As of right now I have no time for anything, because I am graduating in May. So I have a lot of finals and my thesis to complete. I liked this competition a lot though. There is a small possibility I can finish this on time. Once I am out of school, maybe I can put more time into these cool challenges.
