Golf Ball...

Im wanting to make a golf ball model. I found this tutorial for 3d max - https://www.3dm3.com/tutorials/golfball/ - is it possible to do the same kinda thing with maya - ive tried to just create the primative itself but since the controls are all different I'm all stuck....

unfortunately- usually you can easily make general modeling tutorials from 3ds Max ones.

But this ones uses tools ONLY in 3ds Max- and it uses them all the way through.

I know someone with max on his computer - never used it before but if I modeled it around at his house could I then import it into maya ?

yeah- as long as you save the output as .3ds or .obj.
