Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

no, sorry, you can feel free to do that, but only one animation (per type) can be submitted.

Death Sequences

Do you mean a standard death sequence that (if in a game) would be used multiple times for the slaying of enemies? Or can it be one particular cutscene-ish death, like a boss battle death.

I'm thinking more along the lines of an in-game death sequence, however, Boss creatures could very well have very elaborate death sequences so you don't have to think too small!

one month left!

Anyone having any problems?

Hey, fyi, the book's final cover is being shown at Amazon, although whoever put it up there didn't save the file very well as it's a lot darker than the final that I saw, but oh well. user added image

Hmm, no haven't heard of it. The only plans I have at the moment is to attend Siggraph in Boston at the end of July.

Everyone get their entries in! Be aware that there may be a delay in getting the signed books to the winners as they will be coming out of my own personal stash of my book... and I will have to wait until I get them. haha user added image
