beautiful model, dilberts. This is EXACTLY what I'd look for in a tut- the BMW Z4 Coupe from start to finish in NURBS.

Thanks for the comments. I've been working on the wheel shaders this evening, so I should have a wheel test render ready by tomorrow. Can't decide which color to make the brake calipers:angery: The bright red is so distinctive with brembo brakes, but it just might be a little too distracting for this car. I might go with a silver grey color, any opinions? I'm rendering a red caliper right now, so we'll see.

As for the tutorial, it's still in the works. Right now I'm spending all my time finishing models to compile a portfolio. Getting published really gave me a confidence boost to try to make a go of this business. I want to get at least 10 high quality models finished so that I can produce a website, and then a tutorial DVD with it. Unfortunately, a start-to-finish DVD on a project like this would be impossible. I've put in around 50 hours of work on this so far, and that's just buckling down and working. If you added to that a commentary to explain techniques and tools that I use, and you'd be looking at a 60-70 hour long DVD!!!

Anyway, here's a color chooser picture of the calipers. Opinions are needed. Bear in mind the car itself will be a silver grey color.
