looking forward to seeing some more progress on this. It would be cool if you could model some of those cool interior details as well.

Hoping to! Time - such a precious resource.

Guys I need a little help. I'm having trouble with hardening some edges as I split panels off. Rather than post again, here's my issue -

https://forum.simplymaya.com/showthre...threadid=22744

This isn't the actual model but a simple mesh I created to repro the problem.

Help appreciated!!!

Reward for my business trip was mumps so instead of making any significant progress, I've been in bed with a fat head user added image

Here's a little update anyway -

Hi MrR,

Thats some nice modeling there hope you solved your panel
problem, one question are you going to create the tyre bump
if so have you already sourced your templates.
the reason I asked I,ve done a 457 on Simplylightwave
got hold a close font of bfgoodrich for tyre wall but could not
source any profiles from anywhere for the bump.

Thanks again Ribs

Hi Ribs

I'm not sure how I'll attack that just yet. I'm probably going to do white wall tyres with the original knock-off rims.

I usually model the tread on tyres and use an app like CorelDraw or Illustrator to do the side wall bumps from scratch.

Also - forgot to post the other pic last time.

Found 20 minutes to get the grills under the windscreen done and split off the windscreen and moulding.

Hope to get some real time on this over the weekend!

OK. Not as much time was available as I'd hoped but here's the door split out and the rear windscreen and mould. I'll detail the side window next.
