Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Anim: Little Miss Mellini

Hello fellow mayans!

After a couple of weeks of modelling, texturing and rigging I finally got down to do some animation with my new character. I did a render overnight and you can check the result at the end of this post. There’re some glitches here and there and the lipsync need some more work which I’ll go over this weekend. I got the inspiration for the character from some drawing Dean Yeagle had done.
Sound is Natalie Portman and Jude Law from the film “Closer”…

Anyway, any feedback is welcome and here are some stills.
Cheers,
/Chris

ha ha - I'm surprised you're not blind sir avalon! user added image

A couple of things are bothering me- she looks like she is cross-eyed and also her eyebrows look like they have been drawn on with a marker pen. Other than that, nice stuff.

Hey Chris,

Sorry about that . . well it wasn't entirely my fault . . . You see once I saw her picture I kind of stopped reading the text . . what can I say, she was too much of a distraction  that's why I missed the link.

Like her even more after the animation.

Cheers
Paul

Animation is great...the voice acting is really good too!!!

only crit is the right arm goes into her body when she crosses her arms

After looking at it some more, and the animation, she does look cross eyed in some parts.
