Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Can you do MEL during a render?

Hi again.

I have a lot of MEL questions. But I'll try and not to ask them (so you won't get tired of me).

One question though: I know you can do PRE and POST render MEL, but can you do MEL during rendering?

For instance I wan't to render my timeline from 0-400 frames of a scene with 3 cameras. Now at different frames I wan't to change wich camera is being rendered.

Can this be done?

im not so sure about a mel command that can do this.
but this is easily done with the command line rendering flags.
you can have multiple renders at the same time. so in one command line render u can say render frame 1-200 with cam x
in anoher command line render u can do 201-400 use cam y
