how to add video as a background

newbie here

is there a way for me to add video clip as a background in spherical shape?

I would need to place my animation and camera inside the sphere...

any help would be appreciated

hope your skill would rub off on me

Your best bet is to convert your video to an image sequence and then apply it as a texture map to a sphere.
