How do you do when you capture animations?

I have seen some animations on the internet made in maya. Is it possible to save the animations?

I cant find such option anywhere. Or do you capture them on another way?

Edit: I mean capture the animations on the scenes in my own maya projects.

ummm when you set a keyframe and then save your file, your keyframes are preserved inside the maya file (.mb or .ma).

animations are usually either made by creating expressions to drive variables attached to values, or by creating keyframes that do the same thing, but you set them manually.

Hi! You are making some awersome mistakes! Have you seen a movie? That means you just saw compiled frames that were the result of a rendering process in maya. if you saw files mb, you can't know what they are until you open them.If you download a movie that doesn't mean that you download the animation as well...My advice is to read some introduction to 3d concepts..
