Palau de la Música Catalana, in Barcelona is a must visit. The architecture and ornaments are nuts. The church organ is absolutly massive and they say it probably cost more than the entire interior. If you can, I highly recommend a Mozart concert in this building. You don't even have to enjoy classical music to get blown away lol.

Petit palau is a more modern acoustics hall right next to it for concerts, jazz, spokenword, audiovisual events etc.

Also in Barcelona my favourite Gaudí house,
Casa Battló located in Manzana de la discordia (The block of Discord)
https://www.hovberg.se/resmi/casa_batllo2.jpg
A multistory house with no basically no straight lines, hard edges or corners. Everything is soft and round and irregular. The inner stairhouse creates an amazing play with light.

also known as "La pedrea" the roof is a dragon´s back... cool

oops no... theyre two... well in fact the place is littered with modernist buildings user added image

the batllo one has the cool "dragon´s back" roof but "la pedrea" also known as "casa mila" has a more interesting interior... and the front door and the inside of the roof are specially cool

This is the greatest car to ever come out of Spain!

Seat 600...

There is one on the street where I live, in real good shape too (you see a lot of "banged up" versions driving around...). I took 20 pics for reference use (one day, when I have more time, i'll model it). If anyone's interested in them, just ask.

Oh, and if anybody wants any pictures of anything that's in Malaga (Andalucia, Southern Spain), just ask aswell...

[Image is LowRes, but I have the FullRes versions on my computer]

So of the requests, I managed to fulfill:

Anything from Gaudi's park.

I do indeed have a fair few from Gaudi's park.

Picasso & Dali meuseums.

The Picasso Museum in Barcelona is privately owned, and pictures were absolutely forbidden.

Dali's museum was so packed that getting pictures was next to impossible; I only have two, and those were taken rather hastily and from a screwy angle.

parc güell and the sagrada familia

I couldn't stop taking pictures of the eastern facade of la Sagrada Familia :p

Parc güell as well; Gaudi must've had a blast mosaicing the bejesus out of everything.

Three-wheeled cars

I did not so much as see a three-wheeled car.

I have failed you, acid; forgive me :shakehead

Dali's Wall

Nada.

My primary task is to remember what the heck my login is for Photobucket...makes it easier to upload photos when you can log in, no? :p

Thanks Jr.Who!

I know I'm far from being a master photographer; some images are really good, others are pretty fuzzy (or worse)...I'm glad some are enjoyable, though; hopefully they're all inspirational in their own way.

I'll get to the Sagrada Familia eventually.

dude I envy you. I travelled around Spain many years ago (1990) with a friend in our old beat up ford capri. My friend is of Spanish decent and we stayed in Algeciras for a long time with his family there, its on the very South Tip of Spain just across the water from Sauta, North Africa. Its gotta be one of my most favourite places in the world,(Alongside America) it hold many memories for me too. I had a girlfriend from Seville, a classy typical looking Spanish girl (Sevillana). Seville is an old ornate place, please get some pics from there if you could as I never took many while I was there...I'd love to see it now.

Cheers
Jay
